PIDC: Call for Opportunity Zone Projects
The City of Philadelphia and PIDC have teamed up to promote and encourage investment into Philadelphia’s Opportunity Zones.
The 2019 Fall Meeting WLI Langan Scholarship is now open for applications! Female ULI members who are active in the ULI Philadelphia District Council are encouraged to apply for a scholarship to attend the 2019 National Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C from September 18-21. The Fall Meeting brings together 6,500 members annually from every sector of the real estate industry in one place. For more information on the Fall Meeting, click here.
Generously sponsored by Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, the purpose of the program is to support the professional development of women ULI Philadelphia members through participation in the 2019 Fall Meeting, and to advance one of the key objectives of WLI: to raise the visibility and number of women leaders in ULI and the real estate industry. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JULY 17th.
Scholarships will be awarded to a member of ULI Philadelphia who fit the following criteria:
– ULI Philadelphia Commitment: Each scholarship recipient will demonstrate her engagement and leadership responsibility within ULI Philadelphia, as well as her intent to continue her commitment to ULI Philadelphia after the 2019 Fall Meeting.
– Work experience: The scholarship recipient will have a minimum of five years of experience in the real estate industry or related field, including development, architecture, planning, government, transportation, engineering, finance, sustainability, or other professionals serving the real estate industry. Recipient will show leadership and responsibility in her professional career.
The scholarship will provide reimbursement for the cost of registration to the ULI 2019 Fall Meeting. The scholarship recipient will attend all WLI events at the ULI 2019 Fall Meeting, and after the Fall Meeting prepare a summary of her key takeaways from the meeting, to be featured on the ULI Philadelphia website and social media.
