Learn how UrbanPlan supports the next generation of diverse real estate leaders during a Lightning Round Happy Hour as UrbanPlan aficionados guide attendees through a fast and fun team-based competition to introduce you to the program.
All proceeds from this program helps support the growth and reach of UrbanPlan throughout the Philadelphia region.
This is a great way to get to know other ULI members, meet current UrbanPlan volunteers, explore volunteering yourself, and get a taste of the concepts covered in an UrbanPlan workshop - all over snacks and cocktails.
From the creative challenge of balancing competing community demands while preserving your vision, to the financial challenge of maintaining economic viability while managing risk, to the marketing challenge of selling your plan to city council, there is no better way to get introduced to this exciting program.
UrbanPlan is a fun and interactive workshop in which teams of students and or community leaders compete to redevelop the fictional neighborhood of Elmwood. UrbanPlan teaches participants how to:
- Evaluate the economic benefits and risks of different land uses and building types
- Use a financial model to create an economically sustainable development
- Balance the conflicting needs and goals of community groups, the city and private investors.

Young Leaders Group Winter Clothing Collection Drive
Bring new and/or gently used gloves, hats, coats, boots, and other winter clothing for children of all ages to any of our upcoming public events through December 14th to support Cradle to Crayon’s Gear up for Winter program. Donations will be collected at the check-in & registration table.
