As we enter the final weeks of 2024, I want to end the year the way I like to begin our meetings: with an expression of gratitude. Thank you to our members, leaders, sponsors, partners and staff for the time, talent and financial resources you have contributed to ULI throughout the year. ULI Philadelphia engages with diverse leaders to advance best practices in land use throughout our region, discuss challenges and develop solutions, and leverage our collective ability to shape the built environment. We help our industry and the communities within which it operates understand how the world around us is evolving, and how we can both respond to and influence those changes—your belief in the importance of this role fuels our efforts and enables us to be difference makers.

Through your efforts, we have produced more quality programming this year which has effectively raised the already high standards ULI Philadelphia has set. It has been especially gratifying to see the demonstrable impact of members sharing their expert knowledge to benefit programs such as Technical Assistance Panels and UrbanPlan, as well as the partnerships formed with peer organizations to advance our strategic priorities. Engagement, Partnership, and Impact have become our watchwords, and those words are reflected in our work.

I want to extend my sincere wishes for happy, healthy and peaceful holidays to all of you. I hope you find time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished in 2024, celebrate the season, and meet 2025 eager to lead, connect, and inspire.
