The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Meadowbrook Farm has a New Director

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Meadowbrook Farm, for which ULI Philadelphia conducted a Technical Assistance Panel last year, has a new director,  Jenny Rose Carey. Carey is a longtime horticultural educator, historian and author, and will bring a hands-on approach to the Abington Township landscape jewel.  Meadowbrook Farm is the former estate of renowned florist, landscape artist, and Philadelphia Flower Show chairman and adviser, J. Liddon Pennock, who bequeathed the 1930s stone house and grounds to Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. “Jenny Rose will bring Liddon’s beautiful legacy to life,” said Pennsylvania Horticultural Society president, Drew Becher.
