Michael Lloyd is President and CEO of IMC Construction. As President and
CEO, Michael is responsible for the strategic direction and administrative
oversight of the firm. IMC Construction has grown steadily and strategically due
to his business acumen.
IMC is consistently ranked as a Top Place to Work and Best Giving Back Firm.
Michael encourages employees at all levels to commit time to philanthropic
activities, with the financial support of the company. He leads by example and has
been honored for important work by strategically due to his business acumen.
Under Michael’s leadership, IMC has collaborated with a variety of developers,
institutions and renowned design teams to build science and technology
laboratories, research buildings, medical office facilities, corporate offices,
educational buildings, retail malls, manufacturing facilities, and residential
complexes, many earning LEED Platinum, Gold or Silver certification. Current
and recent clients include Penn Medicine, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital,
St. Luke’s Health Network, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Trammell Crow
Company, and Jefferson Apartment Group among others.
IMC Construction’s mission statement is “Improving Lives and Environments”. As
President & CEO, Michael heads up the IMC Charitable Foundation. In an effort
to improve the communities in which we work and live, the mission of the IMC
Charitable Foundation is to provide philanthropic giving to help and empower
nonprofit organizations. Our goal is for IMC to have a positive impact on the
community by transforming the built environment, volunteering and charity, and
expanding opportunities for subcontractors to thrive and grow.
For the last 20 years, The IMC Foundation has held an annual charity golf outing.
Through the years, the golf outing has raised over $2 million and has supported
the work of 130 organizations dedicated to conservation, education, cancer
research and serving the economically disadvantaged in our community.
Michael currently serves on the board for Peter’s Place Foundation, NFP, a
non-profit organization providing outreach ministries dedicated and committed
to providing free long-term residential support for young men who struggle
with substance abuse and/or mental abuse. Michael also serves as a board
member for the Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM), NFP which provides
compassionate medical care, dental care, and health education to people who
live or work in the Chester County region who lack access to insurance. Michael
is also a member of the board of directors for the Philadelphia Chapter of NAIOP.
Michael also sits on the board of Heights Philadelphia, which is an organization
where young people, especially Black, Latino, and first-generation-to-college
students from low-income communities, find support to reach their full potential.
Additionally, Michael was recognized as a 2024 Diverse Business Leader by
the Philadelphia Business Journal and recognized on City & State’s 2024 Black
Trailblazers List.
Michael received his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of
Business Administration in Finance and Economics, with highest honors, from
Loyola University New Orleans.
Michael lives in Bryn Mawr with his wife Anna, their daughter Chloe and son
William.
