JAN!4THWhat does the future hold for Atlantic City?  Start with a panel of global ULI experts who convened last Spring to recommend a new mixed‐use neighborhood in the South Inlet in the Lighthouse District and a focus on jobs in education, medical services and the new creative economy. Add renewed attention from Governor Christie with economic summits, the acquisition by Stockton College of the former Showboat casino, and the expansion of AtlantiCare with Geisinger Medical Center.  Upwards of $500 million has been invested by the private and public sectors.  Combine that with tax abatement, zoning ordinance revisions, and additional opportunities in the Marina, North Boardwalk, The Walk and Gardner’s Basin, and the ingredients are in place for a revitalized Atlantic City.

Join us for this informative session as we discuss Atlantic City’s future.  Keynote Speaker is Tom Murphy, ULI Senior Resident Fellow and former Pittsburgh (PA) mayor; joined by speakers Wasseem Boraie, Managing Member, South Inlet Partners Urban Renewal, developing the new Boraie residential complex; The Hon. Donald A. Guardian, Mayor, City of Atlantic City; Victor Nappen, Chair, Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce; John Palmieri, Executive Director, New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority; and Nicholas F. Talvacchia, Partner and Chair of the Land Use Practice Group, Cooper Levenson.

Each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of the ULI Advisory Services Panel report, “Strategies for a World‐Class Resort City.”Special Thanks to Sponsors:  CRDA, M&T Bank and Omland Engineering.
