Located in South Philadelphia and surrounded by incredible amenities, historic structures, and potential proposals for its future growth, sits one of “Philadelphia’s Hidden Gems” known as FDR Park. In partnership with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, the Fairmount Conservancy has initiated an extensive master planning process that will revitalize the park and engage with the diverse community of users to map out a collective plan for the park’s future. Join ULI for a walking tour that will take you around Meadow Lake, often referred to locally as The Lakes, and around less known areas of the park to learn about some of the proposed interventions within the masterplan.
$5 from every ticket will be donated to Friends of FDR Park. Tour will begin at the historic boathouse. Light refreshments will be provided.
Speakers:
- Allison Schapker, Director of Capital Project, Fairmount Conservancy
