Technical Assistance Panel Writer Call for Proposals ULI Philadelphia is seeking proposals from writing professionals with experience in the land use, real estate, development or planning industries interested in serving as the contracted writer for an upcoming TAP sponsored by SEPTA. ULI Philadelphia and Southwest CDC Receive Grant to Support Grays Ferry Jumpstart Housing Program

Urban Land Institute (ULI) Philadelphia, in conjunction with the Southwest Community Development Corporation (SWCDC), received an implementation grant from the Urban Land Institute’s Building Healthy Places Initiative to support further expansion of the Jumpstart program in the Grays Ferry neighborhood.  This implementation grant builds upon the work of a Grays Ferry Healthy Corridor Study completed in December 2017 and a 2018 grant from LISC Philadelphia that broadened the Jumpstart program from Germantown to include Southwest Philadelphia. RECAP: Tour of Downtown York Revitalization

On November 1, 2018 members of ULI Philadelphia and colleagues in the Central Pennsylvania region descended upon downtown York for a tour of recent redevelopment in Royal Square and West Market Street. Dylan Bauer, President of Development at Royal Square Development and Construction (RSDC), lead over 25 ULI members on a journey through historic buildings repurposed into mixed-use event, office, retail, restaurant and artists’ space. Now Recruiting Members for SEPTA 69th Street Terminal TAP

ULI PHL is recruiting 10-12 members to serve on a two-day Technical Assistance Panel that will provide SEPTA with recommendations on improving customer experience at the 69th Street Terminal. As part of this TAP, SEPTA has requested that ULI members explore opportunities for reprogramming space within the terminal, enhancing wayfinding signage and increasing connectivity to the Upper Darby community. ULI Philadelphia is now accepting applications for the 2019 Mentorship Program. The purpose of this program is to foster an exchange of professional ideas, friendship, and expertise among young professionals and industry veterans to enhance the growth curve and experience of both parties.
