Report Released: Building Healthy & Walkable Communities

10,000 Friends, with the generous support of ULI Philadelphia through a ULI Foundation Urban Innovation Grant, produced a white paper report following a multi-year effort to catalog the public health, economic, and financial benefits correlated with healthy and walkable communities in Pennsylvania. Acting on 10,000 Friends’ own recommendations from the report, the organization has created its Healthy & Walkable Communities Initiative to directly assist communities in implementing projects improving health & walkability. Learn more about the project and 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania here.
