Meet the ULI Staff: Laura Slutsky

As Executive Director of ULI Philadelphia, Laura is responsible for all operations, programs policy and management of the almost 1,000-member region. Laura joined ULI and returned to her native Philadelphia last fall from New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), the largest municipal housing finance agency in the country, where she managed a portfolio of preservation finance programs, transactions and policy initiatives. A Healthy Grays Ferry Corridor

On December 15th ULI Philadelphia hosted the culminating presentation of the Grays Ferry Healthy Corridor Study at the Pennovation Center. The project brought together a panel of national experts, who, after completing an intensive three-day research and stakeholder interview process, presented their recommendations for including health within future planning processes for the Grays Ferry corridor (from Washington Avenue to Woodland Avenue and including the Grays Ferry Bridge). ULI PHL Signs as Community Partner in Philadelphia 2030 District

On October 26, 2017 the Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC) announced the launch of the Philadelphia 2030 District and the ULI Philadelphia District Council has signed on as a community partner. Led by DVGBC, the 2030 District is a public-private partnership that brings together property owners and managers, utilities and energy service companies, and community organizations to pledge to achieve a 50 percent reduction in energy and water use and transportation emissions by the year 2030.
