On Wednesday evening, June 28th, ULI Philadelphia offered a tour of the residences and unique common spaces at the city’s first vertical neighborhood and ULI Philadelphia’s Willard G. “Bill” Rouse III Awards for Excellence Winner, the FMC Tower at Cira Centre South. Guests gathered on the 28th floor, which features a skyline terrace, a pool, fitness center, golf simulator, media room, and spectacular 360° views of the city.
Paul Commito, Senior VP for Development at Brandywine Realty Trust and Evan O’Donnell of AKA, gave guests their insights on what makes this particular development truly unique to the area, which is a carefully thought out mix of luxury hotel and apartment suites. Each floor is dedicated to serving as a hotel or apartment. The suites with similar square footage have roughly the same layout, but the offerings, finishes and furniture placed in each one varies- creating a space that is truly tailored for each occupant’s intended stay.
The event concluded with a networking happy hour, where guests got to take in floor to ceiling views of the Schuylkill, alongside the 72-foot stainless steel “pool in the sky.” Many of those in attendance are participating in projects that are changing the city’s landscape.
