Hard-Hat Tour of Camden’s New Kroc Center

Through a substantial bequest from the Ray & Joan Kroc Foundation, the Salvation Army is creating community centers in urban areas across the country.  The first in this region opened several years ago in Philadelphia and now the first one in New Jersey is nearing completion in Camden.  Located in the Cramer Hill neighborhood on the Delaware River, the new Kroc Center has been built atop the now-remediated Harrison Avenue landfill.
