It's time for the Young Leaders Group Annual Summer Networking Night. This year, all are invited to a summer evening of networking and tour at Crane Arts, a perfect example of adaptive re-use of an old industrial site in an area where zoning contraints require industry-friendly uses. The site comprises two buildings and a large courtyard/garden/parking area. The 100 year old, 100,000 sq ft main building, designed by Philadelphia architect Walter Ballinger, has been converted into 50 work studios for artists and design professionals, four galleries and a 5,000 sq ft exhibition space, the Ice Box. The 10,000 sq ft Stable Building has been converted into a conservation lab and architectural offices. To learn more about Crane Arts' history and current projects or to get directions, visit www.cranearts.com
This program will take place at Crane Arts, 1400 N. American Street, Philadelphia, located 10 minutes from Old City and a quick walk from Northern Liberties and is also accessible by public transportation. Plenty of on-street parking. Please join us from 6:00-8:00 pm on July 23rd for tours, networking and light refreshments. Thank you to event sponsors: Canus Corporation and Crane Arts. We also thank our Young Leader Title Sponsor, TD Bank and Supporting Sponsor Commonwealth/Lawyers Title.
