Awardees will discuss the future of urban economies and what leadership at all levels – city, state, and federal – needs to do now to build competitive, sustainable cities that will thrive for generations to come. Questions they will consider include: What are the next important economic drivers? What is the role of infrastructure investment? Will finance and tourism return? What are the prospects for green and creative economies? How will issues of health and quality of life factor into urban competitiveness?

Bruce Katz, Vice President and Founding Director of the Metropolitan Policy Program, The Brookings Institution

Non-members: $100 per person
