Join the ULI Pocono Northeast Satellite for their first forum entitled "Transportation: The Smart Link to Prosperity." In a recent poll, more than 80 percent of Americans indicated that they want stimulus transportation funds to expand transportation choices, improve the environment and create an immediate boost to the economy.

How do transportation issues impact the economy and local communities in the Pocono Northeast region? What are the opportunities and impacts on regional business from expanding rail service and other transportation initiatives? This forum will focus on all of these questions and more and we look forward to your participation.

Speakers include:

Dr. Jerome M. Lutin, Distinguished Research Professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology

Robert Chepalonis, General Manager, Martz Trailways

Jim Constantine, PP, Principal, Looney Ricks Kiss Architects, Inc.

Gerald Fry, Assistant District Executive for Design, Department of Transportation, PennDOT

Robert Hay, Chairman, Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Railroad Authority

Peggy Howarth, Director, Monroe County Transit Authority

The morning will begin at 8:00 am with registration, breakfast and networking, with our panel discussion beginning at 8:30, followed by questions and answers.
