Philadelphia Neighborhood Economic Development RFP

The City of Philadelphia Department of Commerce is requesting proposals from Philadelphia non-profit neighborhood-based organizations to fund development costs related to the construction of commercial (and/or the commercial portions of mixed-use) development.  Recipients will be organizations that can demonstrate the capacity to complete the project.  Awards will be in the range of $300,000-$500,000 to projects that will enhance employment opportunities, primarily for low and moderate income persons, and increase the availability of goods and services in low and moderate income neighborhoods. Land Bank Releases RFP for West Poplar Sites

The Workforce Housing (“WFH”) Program seeks to unlock developable parcels to those committed to producing housing that is affordable to moderate income households. The Philadelphia Land Bank (“Land Bank”) invites competitive workforce housing proposals from developers to purchase and develop the following publicly owned properties (vacant lots), located in the West Poplar neighborhood of Philadelphia.
